Dr. Eva Maria Dominquez Gomez is a visiting scholar from the University of Extemadura in Merida, Spain. Her terra-centric work is inspired by her kinship with the environment in around her home of Ceceras, Spain. The mixed media pieces on wood were well received in an earlier show at the University of South Alabama, and now she brings the same dynamism downtown for few short weeks.
The gallery is open Mon – Fri, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is free. For further info, call 251-432-9796 or go to www.mobilearts.org.
