BREATHE FOR LIFE GALA TO BENEFIT THE CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s forth annual gala, Breathe for Life sponsored by Springhill Toyota, will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at the newly renovated Riverview Plaza Hotel, in downtown Mobile. Guests will enjoy cocktails and a gourmet dinner in the Bon Secour Ballroom. Turtle Derby on the Delta One thousand to 2,000 rubber turtles will race their way to the finish line during the 1st annual Turtle Derby on the Delta benefiting Covenant Hospice of Mobile County. The Eastern Shore Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association will host their 13th Annual “FALL OUT” on Thursday evening, October 2, from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. This year’s fundraiser will be held at Oak Hollow Farm on Highway 98 south of Fairhope, Alabama. Attire is casual. There will be live entertainment, great food, and a silent auction. There will also be a live auction and prize drawings for packages including guided hunting and fishing trips. Tickets are $ 55.00 for singles and $ 80.00 for couples and include a one year membership to CCA. Tickets may be picked up at the Church Mouse in downtown Fairhope and Sportsman’s Marine on Highway 98 in Montrose. Tickets will also be available at the door.
