Radio problems are deeper
To the editor:
Matt and Jay will be missed at WABB, but what is of more concern is the possibility of mishandled management at the station. Every radio and television broadcaster must grow with the market they represent and that entails providing interesting programming to their segment of the listening public. If the public decides it doesn’t like what the changes have brought, it simply adjusts the frequency to a new provider.
As far as the guys not being able to work for a year, that generally won’t stand up in court because you can’t prohibit someone from providing their family with a living if that job is what they are trained to do.
Hope everything works out for Betsy Dittman and the boys.
