Richardson accepting the “Outstanding Individual Award,” which is decided by the folks at Main Street Mobile, Downtown Mobile District Management Corporation and Downtown Mobile Alliance.

District 1 City Councilman Fred Richardson was “Moonpied up” at this week’s Mobile City Council meeting as he announced the event’s latest addition – an official song.

The tune, which has an old timey feel from the first note, was produced by the folks at Dogwood Productions, and was written by “The Rayz,” a group that usually writes Mardi Gras Music. It also features the musical talent of Marcus Johnson and the Bay City Brass Band.
