Feb 25 2008 – After Mardi Gras I was lucky enough to take a few days off and enjoy a busy trip to New York City.

Feb 12 2008 – Not much news in the restaurant business as most owners are concerned that with Mardi Gras on the heels of Christmas, and no real "extra" days for Senior and Super Bowl crowds, they will not have done as well as in years past.

Jan 28 2008 – Ruth’s Chris Mobile just recently celebrated ten years of successful operation under the ownership of Cooper Restaurants.

Jan 15 2008 – Two crazy, funny and talented ladies are having separate events this Friday and I can only attend one of them.

Jan 01 2008 – Corte Inge and Eddie Cornell have amicably parted ways on their plans for the former Gus’s location.

Nov 20 2007 – For several years I have been lucky enough to judge the Mama Mia Italian Cook-Off in Daphne, held to benefit the Daphne Education Foundation, SEEDS.

Nov 06 2007 – After hearing various rumors for the past two weeks, I finally found out the name of the restaurant soon to open in the GM&O building in downtown Mobile is Le Rose Café, operated by Master Chef Max Zuellig from Switzerland.

Oct 23 2007 – The restaurant scene just keeps getting better and better.
