For years, Mobile ARC has benefitted people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization works to educate the public, promote research, advocate for individuals and provide services around the community. On Monday, Oct. 20, a trio of local favorites will come together at Callaghan’s Irish Social Club for “A Ramblin’ Night at Callaghan’s,” organized by “The Southern Rambler.” All proceeds generated from the event will go to buying a new sound system for concerts held by Mobile Arc.

Eric Erdman and Lisa Mills play a recent concert for Mobile ARC. Southern Rambler is hosting a benefit at Callaghan’s Oct. 20 to raise money for a new PA system for the organization.

The Deluxe Trio thrilled crowds at BayFest, and the Americana trio will be donating their time and music to this worthy cause. The soulful sounds of singer-songwriters Lisa Mills and Eric Erdman will also fill this OGD watering hole. Local playwright Tom Perez will also be making an appearance. Perez will be reading from the upcoming South of the Salt Line play “Ambushed by the Tea Party.” Cover is $5 and the show starts at 7 p.m.
