ALGOP adds gag order, closes Tuberville hearing

Voters and media will be barred from attending a nomination challenge this weekend over gubernatorial candidate Tommy Tuberville’s residency, state Republican Party officials announced Tuesday.

According to Ken McFeeters, a candidate who finished a distant second to Tuberville in the recent GOP primary, a new protective order has also been placed on all discovery materials and evidence after a blunder by Tuberville’s campaign exposed the U.S. senator’s sensitive personal information and tax returns data last week.
