Trump Britt IVF

U.S. Sen. Katie Britt, R-Montgomery, speaks at a press conference announcing President Donald Trump's new plan for in-vitro fertilization services.

President Donald Trump and U.S. Sen. Katie Britt, R-Montgomery, announced a new policy Thursday aimed at expanding access to in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The new plan, announced during an Oval Office broadcast featuring Trump, Britt, and Dr. Mehmet Oz, was described as an “employer benefit option,” which is expected to incentivize businesses to offer workers IVF and infertility coverage separately from standard health insurance, similar to dental or vision benefits.
