Gulf Shores Alabama

Welcome Sign For Gulf Shores, Alabama

A local bill introduced in the current session of the Alabama Legislature will allow the coastal resort cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to have three entertainment districts.

Rules on alcohol consumption are eased in these districts where patrons can walk along the streets of the area with open containers. Some districts are 24/7, but cities can establish the days and times for increased freedoms, such as weekends and holidays. Some even set the type of cups that must be used.
