The police were called to the Mobile County Public School System’s central administrative office after a school board commissioner allegedly threatened the mayor of Semmes following a personnel hearing Wednesday morning.

Semmes Mayor Brandon Van Hook told Lagniappe he filed a police report with the Mobile Police Department after he and District 5 Mobile County School Commissioner Johnny Hatcher went into a separate room where Hatcher then threatened to assault him.
