Crews with the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department are investigating a Friday morning fire that destroyed a home and displaced a mother and her child.
On Friday, March 21, at approximately 12:27 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a residential fire in the 2500 block of Karagan Drive. Upon arrival, crews discovered a single-story brick home with heavy smoke and fire coming from the eaves and windows.
