Demolition of Mobile’s old public housing facilities could move forward later this spring or summer, Mobile Airport Authority officials stated.

During a board meeting Wednesday morning. Kelly McGriff, an Airport Authority board member, said he believes grant funding may soon become available to clear property west of Michigan Avenue, including the former low-income senior facility Frank Boykin Towers.
