A second Prichard police officer has been arrested in connection to an ongoing criminal investigation of former officer Emanuel Naman Dotch.

According to a Wednesday statement from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Jihad Hasan Irby was arrested earlier in the day and charged with two counts of first-degree extortion, two counts of bribery and one count of using his office for personal gain. MCSO and the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office took Irby into custody, according to the statement.
