Tuberville

Sen. Tommy Tuberville

Last week, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville told a group of donors at a private event that he intends to forgo seeking a second term in the U.S. Senate and run for governor.

For the first time, Tuberville revealed the worst-kept secret in Alabama politics outside the confidence of private conversation to a room full of people.

Tommy Tuberville has done nothing constructive as US Senator. He could not even correctly name the three branches of government. He is a Trump yes-man who damaged our military by blocking general officers promotions for months over reproductive rights. He would make a terrible governor. We need someone who has executive experience at the state government level. Ainsworth seems to have some common sense and actually care about Alabama.

It seems that comments that disagree with the writer(not just this columnist) soon disappear. I wonder why even have them...

I don't see an upside of Tuberville. Why do we have to always be a laughingstock? He didn't know anything about being a senator; has he learned anything? He seemed to know nothing about investment, but his name was on the company, and he admitted he knew nothing. Just my opinion.
