South Alabama's Chyrsta Narcisse (0) scored 10 points i a return to her hometown of Lafayette. LA.

The South Alabama men’s basketball team dropped a low-scoring, 59-49 decision to arch rival Troy on the road last Saturday in Sun Belt Conference play. The loss dropped the Jaguars’ overall record to 11-5 and its Sun Belt mark to 2-2. Troy improved to 10-5 and 3-0 in league play.

The Jags return home to the Mitchell Center on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game against Sun Belt leader Georgia Southern (12-5 overall, 4-0 in Sun Belt). The game will be broadcast on ESPNU. With the game selected for broadcast, the tipoff time is different than originally scheduled. It will remain a doubleheader with the women’s team, which will tip off approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the men’s game. The women will face Louisiana-Monroe.
