Former Baker standout Labaron Philon, who just completed his freshman season at Alabama, announced on social media Monday he is entering the NBA Draft.
The news of Philon’s announcement has been anticipated since Alabama was knocked out of the NCAA Tournament. He was one of the country’s top recruits while in high school — originally at Baker and during his senior season in Link Academy in Missouri. He originally committed to play at Auburn, but de-committed and later signed Kansas. However, he was later granted a release from Kansas and he signed with Alabama.
