South Alabama's Yam Banks

South Alabama pushed aside Louisiana Tech last Saturday for a 38-14 victory that was dominated by the Jaguars throughout. The Jags got off to a quick start — including returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown that was called back because of a penalty — and never allowed Louisiana Tech an opportunity to get anything going offensively.

Special teams came through — Caullin Lacy returned a punt for a touchdown — and the offensive and defensive units continued to show improvement as South Alabama gained some momentum heading to Louisiana this Saturday for their first Sun Belt Conference game of the year.
