Very tall men with abs and pecs (and everything else presumably) of steel are walking around Downtown Mobile. No offense to our local gentlemen, but we don’t see this very often around LoDa. Nope, we only see it once a year and that time is during Senior Bowl week! One of the most wonderful weeks of the year! So welcome to all the players and their families, coaches, scouts, agents and media! We sure do love hosting you here.
And please make sure to go to as many local bars and restaurants as possible so I can report on it next issue. Especially if you are a head coach, so I can identify you. I get way too many Senior Bowl tips that start like this: “I really don’t know who he was, but he was a very large man in a Falcons/Saints/Bengals (fill in the blank) pullover, and I saw him at Veet’s.”
